Liz Monahan- Vice President, CorpTalk

Liz Monahan, Vice President, CorpTalk, is an executive coach and leadership effectiveness strategist.  With over 15 years as a senior HR executive in large financial services organizations, Liz is able to apply her unique insights and practical experience to identify and address critical change needs within client companies.  She works closely with business leaders and internal HR partners to design and implement collaborative, inclusive solutions based on participatory management practices.  As a trusted “voice at the table,” Liz’s easy personality, common-sense approach, and bridge-building skills allow her to foster and facilitate dialogue-based, game-changing discussions at the strategic level.

Liz’s goal as a trusted advisor and coach is to help executives and their teams succeed through increased self-awareness and breakthrough performance.  She understands complex stakeholder systems and partners effectively to align all efforts in order to build unifying, practical and sustainable solutions that drive business results and organizational transformation.  Liz designs Organizational Development and Human Resource strategies to support enterprise-wide culture change initiatives, many of which have resulted in best-in-class performance.  Specifically, Liz developed a talent management program in order to meet the leadership needs of a fast-growing, complex organization.  This program was highly successful in that the organization was able to identify its high-potential leaders and develop those leaders for the next business challenge.  The program also quickly revealed leadership “gaps” so that pro-active, cost-effective action plans could be implemented to address the need.
 
As Senior Vice President, Human Resources for GMAC Residential, Liz led the human resources and training functions for this national, 10,000-member financial services organization.  Later, as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for De Lage Landen, Liz was responsible for the human resources and training functions for the U.S. and Canada.  Liz’s track record of creating high performance cultures that attract, develop and retain talent made her a sought-after partner in each of these roles.

Upon joining CorpTalk, Liz led the firm’s introduction of self-directed, on-line coaching programs to address the heightened needs and pressures of CorpTalk’s client companies. CorpTalk’s budget-friendly, high-quality coaching solutions have helped client companies stay on the front end of this difficult business environment.

Liz received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University and her Master's degree in Counseling from Rider University.  She has led several executive-level management and leadership development programs and is a CorpTalk-Certified Master Coach.
